Peter

Peter is a born explorer and is always on the lookout for new stories, fascinating facts and interesting places that are slightly off the beaten track. His walks reflect his spirit of adventure and he is one of those guides who sees London as his playground. A place to explore, to discover its hidden secrets and to uncover its mysteries!

He’s an experienced guide and has been taking small groups on walking tours in London since 2015 but he’s also a world explorer. During the past 15 years he has travelled and worked in more countries than he can remember for large humanitarian organisations such as the Red Cross, supporting crisis response and overseas development projects. This spirit of adventure is something that he carries with him when he returns home. In his own words: “There is always something new to discover in this amazing city!”.

He was born in London, went to school and University here, lives here and to coin a phrase – he admits that he will never tire of London! We’re pretty sure that he will never stop learning, experimenting and trying new things.

When he’s not working, he loves making furniture (did we mention that he’s also a qualified handcrafted furniture maker?), competing in triathlons (although he admits to having put on a few kilos since his last one), mudlarking (he recently found a bone Roman hairpin from 2000 years ago) and of course catching up with friends in one of London’s wonderful pubs… in case you’re wondering his favourite drink is a pint of ale or stout.
